Default RE: begginer question about arrows

Whether to go with carbon or aluminum is a personal choice. Generally speaking, aluminum will weigh more and, generally speaking again, are a bit less expensive than carbons of the same tolerances. The downside to aluminum; they bend.

Carbon generally weigh less and are a smaller diameter, so you can gain quite a bit of speed. They aren't necessarily light either, though. Good carbon arrows do cost a little, but even though most folks don't want to hear this, it's money well spent. Don't buy into the "it's either good or broke" theory though with carbons.....That just ain't always true, though they are more durable.

I shoot carbon, Carbon Express to be more precise. Very durable, excellent arrows.

Whatever you do......I'm almost begging here, please, please PLEASE get the absolute best arrows you can afford. If there's one thing worth spending the extra money on, it's arrows.
