Default RE: Speaking of TV shows (2)

I saw the show also. I am a big fan of Realtree, but, this was BAD! I couldn't believe what I was watching. The lady OBVIOUSLY didn't practice with that bow because if she did, she would have realized the draw weight was too much for her. Then, she kept fumbling the arrow around, causing all kinda chaos in the tree. Then, when she shot, I almost flipped out. She hit the deer as David had explained, about half way back and VERY HIGH. The funny thing was that she said she "heard the deer crash just on the other side of the field". I have seen deer shot through both lungs run further than how far this deer "supposidly" went. The dry firing was amussing also.

Realtree has had one other shot that reminds me of this. A lady was hunting and had a big buck come in. She tried drawing her bow back but she couldn't, she pulled a muscle in her shoulder while trying to get it drawn back. Then, the lady TRIED AGAIN, and the camera man helps her. Now, she is at full draw, barely able to hold it, wobbling like nothing that I have ever seen. You could give a person with tremors and they would hold the bow more steady. Does she let down and not "risk a bad shot", NOPE, she takes it and shoots over the deer.

For the most part, the Realtree videos have guys shooting bucks and making great shots, but, these two ladies shouldn't have been hunting IMHO.
