I can't comment on the Quad rest because I've never owned one. I had a Ripcord on my Hoyt Trykon and it worked real well. The only concern I had with it was that it made a little noise on draw withcertain arrows. However I didn't have any of the felt tape that it came with installed either, so I'm sure that would have solved the noise. It's a good rest.
