I go pretty much on content. Admitedly there are kids on here with more experience than me. I'm 45 years old and this coming season will be my third with a bow. There are a bunch of kids with far more experience than I have. If I seea kid making posts about taking 50 yd shots at turkey with his Micro Midas because that is a shot he is competent at making and practices out to 70 yds with 3" groups..............well, I'll just smile and go on.
I agree with you! This really used to agrevate me b/c I think they could get a better shot if they waited (none of my business though). You should read Fred Bears field notes. In his book I have read of him taking 60 or 70 yard shots on running game (trad bow), he also shoots them through the hind leg. Does that make him any less of a hunter? I tend to think he shouldn't have done some of the things he did (none of my business). Im hopeing that by the end of the book things change a little with his experiences.
