Boy, you'all need to take a deeep breath!, all stories have two sides. To start, it sucks driveing over an hour to get to your local archery shop, I know, I had to do it last week just to get a little plastic cable guide for my Tribute so I could go hog hunting on Saterday, I feel the pain. But, like he said, he tested a few, and waited a couple of months later, the man he was dealing with wasnt there yet, he might not of even known the bow that was still in the box was even sold the day befor. Good posibility the man he was making the deal with was not able to make any changes of the price of the bow in question. Ill be the first to say that the Tribute is a fantastic bow, and there is alot more other brands that are just as good, if you want the Tribute have them order it in and pick it up when it gets there. As far as getting one off the internet, BAD IDEA!!!!, Bowtech will not honer any waranties of their equipment purchased off the internet, new or used. Life is too short to be worried about the little things, though one thing I can say about the dealer you are useing, his prices are HIGH, I only paid 649.00 for mine, you might try some other dealers even if you have to drive two hours.
