so heres my dilema. i got 7 Easton Epics left. busted the rest of the dozen by shooting them. i could buy another half dozen and be set...BUT....i shot the heck out of those 7 arrows. literally thousands of shots. i busted the other arrows early on last year then got smart and started shooting spots..but i shot ALOT. now 2 need refletched so my 1000 or so shots this year been on 5 arrows...i definently think its time for a new set regaurdless...and i dont like how short they are. if i draw back hard with broadheads it can be bad news for me when it hits the rest and the broadhead hits me in the arm(dont ask me how i know...thankfully it was dull)
heres the delema. im shooting those, that weigh in at 380grs or so finished at 260fps.
i been looking long and hard at Carbon Express terminator select hunters. 12gpi and are a carbon composite arrow which is supposed to be made like a tank. tolerances make the epics look like junk. they arent that much more..i think 20$ more a dozen. with a 125gr head they should be 500-525grs finished..shooting between 230 and 240fps with roughly 65ft/lbs of KE.
should i go with the terminators?? im a hunter. thats what i do. i target shoot and goto 3d shoots to practice...i dont take long shots in the woods...
i think the extra weight will do me good and no harm. sure i'll loose a few FPS..maybe adjust my sights slightly...but for the extra weight, KE and momentum i think its a good move....but thats why im here to ask....getting ready to order them and my string this week...i need to get it all good n tuned by the end of august when i leave back to college...then i can only shoot 3days a week not 7

...so i like to have it good and tuned and shooting broadheads with my fieldpoints by the end of august...
