I would say just shoot one if you seen it. If I seen a ML while hunting,I am not taking a chance with him being the, ITis as much as scared of you as you are of IT. No way hozay. I am going to do a pre empitive strike on his a$$ to prevent that WMD from happening.
WMD= Wild Mountainlion Destruction
most of sighting i hear are almost all near or on dirt roads and almost all are in summer..dont ask me why, i dont know...
what i cant understand is why no tracks are found in snow,at least to my knowledge locally..
only reason i can say is they are not here in winter,question is, where do they go?
or could 1 or 2 cougars be moving constantly from state to state?
some said range is 500 miles..i dont know....
i do know this almost all sighting are from summer to archery season,then they stop reporting..
most of sighting are in most wilderness areas we have but some are not..
in summer sighting are in the wilderness areas,in winter most are near homes in rural areas...
so, cougars could be moving to food, if deer and game move. maybe they do also, i dont know....
