I ended up getting the Nikon Monarch 2 X 20 EER. Very pleased! Great eye relief at varying distances, and typical Nikon clarity. The problem I had with the Leupold was it took too long to find that narrow eye relief "window". The Nikon was right there, BAM! . . . from about 10" to 24".
