I have done this using tree tops from a recent logging project on my property. APAJaws shot 2x does out of my "nanny whacker" stand that has tree tops funneling them to walk the very top edge of a side hill. Works like a charm. The first time he hunted this spot and shot his first deer of the season 4x seperate 2.5 year old bucks came through chasing does less than 25 yards from the stand.
