How many folks over the age of 15 seriously call a forkhorn a "good time"??? [&:]
Are there really adults like that out there? Do you know adult hunters thatnever raise the bar and set goals? How boring would that be every season! Is it just about the machoism of bragging to everyone that YOU/they killed something, anything, every year?
Just like most hunters 99 % of golfers are more than content to just play the game,there are guys that hunt one or two days a year and yes that fork horn is just as good as it gets to them.
Seeing the forest for the trees seems hard for some here. I would guess that the guys posting here represent a very small percentage of all hunters in the country that actually consider hunting a life style.
Certainly education would help many understand the goalsof Q.D.M.But many more just do not care, they have jobs ,family's & many more of todays problems on their plate. They consider a weekend of deer hunting as nothing more than a break from life's little difficulties.
Just keep in mind its not all about the horns.................
