Kudos to _Dan and Il-Cornfed. Here are two questions I have along with comments:

(1) What does QDMA say about shooting mature does? If immature bucks are passed on, should we pass on immature does as well?

In the areas I hunt it seems most bowhunters do take does, and though some younger bucks are taken, most do seem to hold out for a mature buck. But I witness the brown its down practice moreso in firearms season, as it seems many if not most firearm hunters are happy to take the first thing coming by.
