Most of them you can clamp it, so it doesn't have to be 23" high, adjust it to fit. I bought a shooters ridge bipod, it's something like 13-29 1/2", and I like it. If you are going to be shooting all of your shots laying down, it is too high at the lowest setting, but it works.
