...actually the peep is very fast.. all you do is make sure you're looking thru the peep, put the front sight on the target, and let 'er fly.... I had one on my 375 Big Bore, and it was very fast, but the aperture was too big, and accuracy off the bench wasn't what I expected. As far as taking it apart.. if you don't like mechanical stuff, you better not do it. It's about a 5 or 6 step process to get it apart. It's not difficult, don't get me wrong, but if you don't like messing with mechanical things, then you probably won't enjoy it. I've had mine apart twice, and still have to refer to my instruction sheet to do it. A few more times, and I should have it down pat...
