My opinion is that you will get more straighter arrows from a dozen quality aluminums than you will a dozen all carbons in almost all instances. Perhaps the same thing with aluminum/carbons vs aluminums too. All I know is that I will never return to all carbons, been shooting aluminum/carbons now for the last two seasons and like them much better, for the reason of weight(better penetration) and overall accuracy in hunting scenarios. I'd like to add that I never shot groups as good with a new dozen all carbon arrows as I used to with a new dozen aluminums.

I would have no problem returning to XX78's or even XX75s for hunting.
