Dan, I think your shoulder is bias to these speed bows . MOST people would shoot an Elite and say it had a REALLY stiff draw, but I guess you are used to your Bowtech. My only experience with the Elite E-500 was that the draw felt MUCH heavier than it really was, but I guess that's why there are SO many different bows out there. That way there is something for everyone. Other than the draw, the Elite was VERY quiet and shock free.
