I am also a fan of the Red Label, never had any problems with mine though. However I am an occasional trap shooter and waterfowler. I probably don't shoot 600 rounds per year. I have always wanted to look at the Weatherby Orion, also didn't Remington reserect the old model 32. That should be in your price range if you can find one.
