True, but when he is called to determine the posession of the deer I do believe his word on the matter will be the last one unless, of course, someone wanted to go to court over a deer. Personally, if there were a dispute with another hunter then the rule of first blood should matter. If there was still a problem with the other hunter then I would just let him have it. If I follow all of our laws here I can take 36 deer each season. One deer is not going to get me in an uproar
