The new Rem Nylon 66 I bought in 72-73 could be bought for the price JB stated.(I believe that was the correct model name??)The used on was about $35-$40.

I bought alot of new and used .22's back then.Cheap to buy and shoot.You could own a top notch .22 rifle for about $150..22 Handguns even cheaper. .22 is still my favorite caliber particularly Auto Handguns.

I have couple mouldy oldy gun catalogs laying around.If I can remember I'll pull one out and post some prices.
