I always think accuracy starts with the shooter. I bet you could bolt that (XD) gun down on the bench so it would shoot and at 25 yards all the holes would be touching. That tells you the gun is shooting in the same place every time, now the shooter has to.
Keep in mind that Springfield (as many others) sets their sights in the "6 o'clock" sight picture at 25 yards.
