When he would go out with us on the big boat offshore he would take that spinning rod still!

I bet..LOL I've only seen 2 fishermen use them with a rubber worm..Tom Mann and Roland Martin..I like to use them because I think they have a better drag system.However..most of my bass rods are baitcasters.
