A private pond here in Calhoun County, Georgia. That's about 60 miles from the Alabama line, and about 75 or so from the Florida line in southwest Georgia. Oh, and about 65 miles from Lake Eufaula in Alabama also. My husband used to be a tournament fisherman for 20 years over in that area. That was Tom Mann's home if that rings a bell for you. \

Then we bought an offshore boat and both got our Captain's license, switched to saltwater, and chartered the boat for a few years. Now he bass fishes for fun in the local ponds around, and we catfish in our yard in our own pond. What a life, huh?
