I guess it's just like hunting with one pin. I think there are a good bit of hunters (not target guys) who use one pin. I really only use 2 pins for hunting (but have 3 pins on my sight). If you have a fast rig and only want to shoot out to 30 yards, one pin or one laser should be able to get the job done (with slight compensations for 10 yards and 30 yards).
You got it. If I took my scope off my bow, I would go to a one pin set up. It's much cleaner and easier. Just like shooting open sights on a shoot gun. You adjust for distance.
I've got plans to go with a stick bow next and no sights.
