OK a slug gun is like a man or womem.Not all work out good together.Every slug gun has a slug that works better then the rest.I shoot a mossburg 500 and I tried many slugs over the years. The difference was awesome.I had my gun sighted in for one brand and the next brand was 6 inches off.You have to experiment to see which one gives you the best pattern.I found in my mossburg the Winchester gold hollow pts work the best.Of course they are the most expensive. 100 yards if you have a good match.I like to keep it to 75 yards to be ethical with my skill.
