I've got two full sized P14's and have had good luck with both. The only necessary repair has been replacement of the original mag-releases. The originals were made of a plastic/polymer, and wore out over time. I replaced them with stainless steel aftermarket parts.

Sometimes they can be picky about ammo. My first was an alloy framed P14. My second was a stainless P14 Limited. TheLimitedhad all kinds ofFTF malfunctions when using the reloads that I had developed for the alloy model. I shortened the OAL from 1.25 to 1.246, and haven't had a malfunction ineither pistol since, with thousands of rounds through each...
