I recently purchased one for concealed carry. I am very impressed with the performance. I thought the gun would be horendus to shoot but recoil is no different than a full size 1911. I dont know how they did that. Must be something about the ergonomics. Out of the 1st 200 rounds I had 2 FTF and 2 stove pipes. Thats not bad when the gun requires a 300 round break in period. Other than that the gun ran flawlwessly. I was a little sceptical about buying a shorty 1911 but so far I am very satisfied with th Para's performance.
