More accurate than a lot of AKs, but still not enough for coyotes at 200 yards in most conditions. My Yugo gets about 3.5" at 100 yards from the bench. Might want to look at a Mosin-Nagant or some other milsurp ifyou're looking for an inexpensivepredator rifle.
I agree. You can get them for less than 100 bucks in some places. I saw a guy Sunday withan M44at the range that hit 4 clay pigeons in 5 shots at 100 yards shooting from the kneeling position. That should be plenty acceptable for a coyote, though I probably wouldn't want to use one of them if I planned to keep the pelt.
