I'm in NY and I know you all that hunt NY and around it know its been slooooooooow this year. No gobbles, no birds. Its like they disapeared. The warm weather came late this year so it set thier breeding season back. Now it looks like they are all hened up and breeding now. Basically they are acting like they normally would the last couple weeks of April. So it looks like the second half of May is going to be the best time to hunt. I was just wondering if the birds have started to gobble, and hit fields strutting anywhere yet? I know here it is still horrible hunting. Just looking forward to all the hens getting bred and the toms getting vocal and active again.......
