I use Feather Flex brand decoys.
As far as set up, I usually set them out around 15 to 20 paces.
One thing I like to do is never set them directly
in front of me.
If you picture a set up like a clock and you're pointing
at 12 o'clock I set the fakes at either 2 or 10 o'clock.
That way if a bird comes in directly in front of you, the decoys
and you are'nt in his same line of sight.
I read it in a article somewhere. Not sure if it's earth shattering
news about decoy placement but it seems to work for me.
