I like the 870. A lot of guys seem to concern theirselves with recoil. With Turkey and Deer hunting, your usually only going to take one shot. I can handle any recoil once or twice. Weight is a bigger factor for me. If I'm going to spend all morning carrying a shotgun, I want the lighter pump. Now, for duck-hunting, that's when you need less recoil.
