Default RE: un-be-LIEVABLE!!!!!!!

That's a good Shop owner, glad to hear it! You'd NEVER find that kind of service around here!
That's sad! I guess I have only been around great shops then here in Idaho. Two years ago we had a fellow come into our shop with his two month old Mathews Switchback. Durring the middle of september he was going down some backmountain road and his bow case bounced out of his pickup truck. He was pulling a big horse trailer, long story short, he ran over his bow with his horse trailer andhis bow case and bow with accessories were damaged beyond repair. About the only thing that was good was the release, and wrist sling and a arrow or two.Mostofthe arrows in the case were broken as well as the accessories on the bow. Mathews didn't blink twice about making it right and either did we. This fellow walked out of our shop the same day with a brand new Switchback and Mathews Quiver free of charge, of course they were under Mathews lifetime warrenty. As far as new sights, rest, stabilizer, arrows, and thecase, we did charge him some just enough to cover our cost. He thought it was fair and so did we. That is what a pro shop is suppose to do, and if we didn't there are enough good pro shops around as you can see/read from this threadthat we would loose our business elseware. At that time we had three good pro shops in town. Sadly one went out of business becuase the owner went through a bitter divorce and his wife wanted half of everything. He is now in head management at Sportsmans Warehouse down in Salt Lake City. Anyway its sad that so many pro shops are not really PRO SHOPS! Not to brag in away way, but archers here don't need to worry about what pro shop. They only need to worry about what brand of bow they want. Maybe that is why we have so many people come from out of state to buy Mathews bow from us, as I am sure the same with Buds and Hoyt. As a area we are more expensive than a lot of other places but if you get the service then its worth it IMO. Sorry for hijacking the thread, just my 2 cents.
