I can say about EMF and don't have a complaint about Ruger or Savage (I agree the Savage's are kinda ugly, but they shoot good and are reliable) But I can say the early Weatherby MKV's had a design flaw in the stock ,that caused them to crack in the wrist of the stock. They've remedied the trouble on their newer rifles and have improved their customer service. That said ,they turned me off thier products in the very early 80's when they didn't stand behind thier screw up. I had 2 300's that cracked and personally saw another 5 that developed cracks in the same spot and ran into more than a few hunters on trips to Wyoming that had experienced the same trouble.
