btomlin, i have the cabelas ez hang and also the bear river pro hunter! get the cabelas ez hang. very stable stand to say the least. also it doesn't squeak!!!! sumthin to look into also the seat hieght on the bear river is a little bit high for me and end up sitting with my feet dangling, not sumthin that makes me feel ne more safer. but the cabelas has helped kuz the leveling platform, many trees have i been able 2 sit in because of that feature. plus its a lot cheaper but a very well made stand.
