I am considering purchasing one of these stands. The main reason for the purchase would be due to the ability to set up mult. stand locations with the tree brackets and put the stand into which ever tree bracket you had set for the wind and conditions. I have a climber, but am sick of every place I want to hunt the trees are not straight. I also like the fact that I could hunt a tree that was leaning because you could level the platform.

Both stands appear to be similar in weight, function, platform size.
The bear river is notably nicer but also $40 more. Tree brackest for the cableas are $20 ea. but look easy to make.

Which stand would you choose?
