RE: Tribute or Allegiance?
Terry, the Black Ice is available up North, I can get you the name of the Dealer on Monday. He had a few of them at the show in Barrie--the same guy is alsoan AR Dealer.
I can say that I did feel a difference in the 05 & 07 Allegiance.
My 05' felt more compact/solid. The 07 to me had a wobbly/soft feel initially. Of course the 05 weighs 4lbs 3ozs compared to the 07' with 3.8 lbs--the difference in weight may have been the reason, as I lean towards a heavier bow, feels more stable to me. The changes in the 07 riser has reduced some weight.
The cam lean has been addressedon the 07', by moving more mass to the center of the cam. Nevertheless, this never really affected the 05' Allegiance, even with cam lean, providing the bow/arrow is reasonably tuned.
Either model, be it the Tribute, Allegiance, Guardian, Equalizer with some amount of practicewill soonbe master by the shooter, and unless you're switching bowsregularily, only then you will be constantly adjusting to their feel.
Otherwise, sticking with one bow, eventually your consistancy will stay the same, and you would pretty much be able to shoot the bow with your eyes closed.
