Well.....I see your point. The only "Food", per se, would be bugs (I guess). It's on the backside of a knoll that they feel "safe" in, though. I just KNOW they use this route to travel from woodlot to woodlot....and another field or two beyond.

I've got a jake deke.....but I always think I run the risk of scaring off male birds who might think they're gonna get their ass kicked. Going after my first bird via stick and string....I'm not too happy with that prospect.

hence.....my plan. i can use three hens if ya think that sounds even better!...lol
