Find valleys where the fields are protected from the wind and calm. The birds will move to these fields on the windy days cuz no tom wants to sit out in a field gettin blown around like a tumble weed while he is tryin to strutt his stuff. If the birds are not in the fields or you don't have these fields hunt in the woods in ditches and valleys where you are protected from the wind also and look for open areas around there where a tom might come as a strutting area. Finding those calm little back areas and nooksare the key to finding held up birds on those terriblywindy days. WCL
