Well, heres my colors and why..

when I first came to Florida I ssk all the successful fishermen what the best color was...Some said grape and one man swore by black curly tail.

They are both dark colors. i also remember reading somewhere that red makes bass aggressive..so I also use red shad alot. Simply from having success...I've tried many colors ..My top colors for rubber worms are..

Red Shad.
Grape...Christmas Tree
Black ...or black with blue tail

The reason why I only use white spinner baits...I try ot match the hatch. In th emorning small gizzard shad are schooling on the shoreline and getting attacked by bass. They are white.

Therefore I only use white weedless or Rooster Tail spinner baits or chatter baits....I also use a silver top water lure..

my rattle traps are chrome with blue back

Crappie jigs have red head and white body..

"If it works... don't fix it." is my motto.
