Speer's Grand Slam is simply a bonded bullet.....It competes with Swift's Scirocco and shortly with bonded bullets from Hornady and Nosler. If the accuracy suits you.....use it. It's a fine premium bullet.

I do not consider it the equal to Swift's A-Frame however.....a bonded partition bullet.

Their use on deer size animals might be marginal compared to traditional bullets, but I'd certainly want a bonded bullet for an elk, moose or other animal that size or bigger.!! They are definitely better bullets....how much better will be argued for decades!!!!
