Some dropaways like to be set higher than what a person would think=1/4" higher than prong rests--i think that's to compensate for the rest laying on top of the shelf, when it drops you don't have enough clearance otherwise.
That makes perfect sense. I took a really close look at mine and I still have clearance. Not much, but it's still clear. As soon as the guy told me it needed to be lowered, that was my first question.
True. I always wanted to see a slow mo video of the arrow coming off of a fall away rest. Wonder just how much the arrow keeps falling as the rest drops out from under it.
That's something I'd like to see as well. I would think that at that point the arrow is already on it's way and there would be almost no drop.
