I live in east Texas but own a ranch (350 acres) in Kinney Co between Uvalde and Bracketville and I can tell you that it will be HOT. The only trees out there are on creeks, otherwise nothing over 7-6 feet tall. Great place to hunt, had big anthrax die off about 5 yrs ago but the deer are really coming back. Watch out for rattlers and wet backs, plenty of both. BRING SNAKE BOOTS!
