Passthru u are wrong!If you are shooting say, 25yds or less then you can't beat a heavier aluminum arrow,but if you are shooting farther than 25yds, I'd shoot carbons because they are more flat shooting but,they have less kinetic energy it's all personal preference.
You are saying that the weight of the alum is what is better at 25yrds then why not just get a hevier carbon. That is not an advantage.
