Wv i laughed when i read you were ashamed about telling the age of your old bow thats exactely how i felt. I was shooting a fred bear vapor 300 before i upgraded to the ross cardiac.

My advice shoot as many new bows as you can get your hands on. If you are trying to bring the whole package in around 500-600 then take a good look at the martin bengal you should be able to get the bow with all your accessories and arrows for well within your price range good luck.
