I personaly prefer a good hard case. They are a little more bulky but protect your gear much better. The only two soft cases I would even consider are the SKB and the Primos soft cases. Both are well built and provide about as much protection as you can expect from a soft case. Only draw back is you can get afair to very good hard case for what you pay for either of the soft cases.
