Default RE: quivers?

here is one for ya. Its cheap and easy. I used a great northern but have seen a couple others use regular hooded quivers. Make it into a side quiver. How? Tie a piece of rope to it and sling it over your shoulder. Its small, light weight, out of the way, and easy to hang in the tree! I tried to hang my Chief Side Stalker....didnt realize my first hunt with it was going to be hanging out of a tree as it wasnt made for that imo. It did work though and I did manage to shoot 2 deer with it, one from the ground, one from the tree but I wouldnt go that route. Also a hip quiver with a quick detach is a great quiver for folks who like to do as you do. Wear it in, its simple to get on and off. Take that quick detach strap (I like the idea of using my raft straps more then the buckle types), run that strap around the tree and through the belt look, have it mounted to keep the nock end away from you. just some ideas....
