Way to go Ma Hunter. We need Arrowmaster to put one on the ground.

Keep an eye on the prize guys.. I know I currently have the smallest bird ever posted right now. But watch what is gonna be happening.. I still have until June 3rd to fill my other tag and I have been watching some big birds.. They will not come out and play good right now because of being with hens.. But that will be changing by the 3rd.. It is great to see all the close scoring going on though..

Quite frankly we have people who join this contest and have never ever shot a bird. I have years of data going back so I have data to back this up.

Not fair to the rest of the team - you can't be that bad! Even a blind squirrel can find his own nuts.

There is no doubt about it JW.. I was at least a few years before I had ever shot any birds and people on here helped me and you was one of them.. My first bird was a fall bird with my bow.. I still find that awesome and surely will never forget it. While I will admit I am not quite as good at it as some of you are I still get out and enjoy it. I feel that is the biggest part of these contests is to get people to just get out and enjoy the hunt while being safe doing so.. Then getting something is just a bonus..

All trash talking aside, you are absolutely right Phil... It's about sharing in the team spirit, and meeting new hunters from around the country and learning from their successes and failures... bragging rights is always fun, but it's just that... for fun.
It's been a helluva contest this season, win lose or draw. Keep at it everyone..
oh... and go Team 1!!!!!

As I let a red head pass this morning because I didn't like the shot, I reminded myself on the way home that I was supposed to be in the woods turkey HUNTING and not just turkey CALLING.

You can find 'em, pattern 'em, call 'em and even watch 'em strut - but the only birds that count are the ones that take a dirt nap and then ride home in the back of the truck.

Team 4 is in the lead boys, and we're not done yet

Team 1 has 2 getting posted soon by arrowmaster. 1 will count for contest overall and car has another 13 or so to add with his 69 pt slammer! Hopefully our active duty member comes through with his birds to add another to over all and a couple to Total team score.
