Got back from Texas today. It was tough hunting. Very few mature birds. The ones there were henned up bad. I did manage to take two though. One of the longbeards had 1 1/2" spurs. He scored 67.625. The other bird scored 52.525. While turkey hunting I had an 80 pound sow walk by. I had to do a little hog eradication. Plus she will some good eating. Pictures and measurements of the birds are on the post score thread. Here is Miss Piggy

Congrats on getting us on the board!!!

Our season starts tomorrow. I'm going to try and get out this weekend. Got snagging paddlefish on the brain as well so if a good rain comes in I'll be headed to the river for a little snagging action. Until then though I'll be calling to the turkeys

Nice bird! I went out Saturday and they were already at the feeder. Couldn't get them to come back in. Haven't had a chance to get back out yet. Hoping to tomorrow or maybe Friday.

Good going springspur. I took half a day off work today and went to my property this morning. I got one at about 8:30 this morning. I am now tagged out in Louisiana. I'll put pics up later this evening. He weighed a little over 18 lbs., had a 10 inch beard , and both spurs were a little under an inch.
