My season in Louisiana opens this weekend, but there are no birds. This is the first time I have not seen any birds. Not even a single hen. I think all the clear cutting in the area may have finally taken its toll. I'm still going to try, but it's not looking good. I'll be off to Texas next week. Reports there now are that the birds are non vocal. They should be heating up soon though. Good luck to everyone this season.

Checking in; just added to the team over the weekend. Hunting SW Michigan with my 10yo son. Tons of toms around, we should do well. Son and I are hunting the late season, runs May 2-31.

We got a team name yet?
