Good luck in Texas. I'll be chasing Rios in south Texas at the end of this month. Where are you hunting? I have hunted north Texas several times. I've hunted in Palo Pinto and Parker counties and also around Jacksboro. I hunted the Grasslands out of Decatur a few times when there were a few birds to hunt there. I love hunting my home state, but it's hard to beat south Texas.

I'll be hunting in Wilbarger County. It's about 2 hours from Jacksboro. My dad shot a tom with 5 beards a few years back. I'll mainly be hunting that same area.
