I use 60% alcohol/ 40 % windex soluting for wiping the pan, then dry it with a dry patch. I then use that wet patch for running down the barrel once on each side. I try to keep the prime to the outside as well. From reading all of the posts that I can I can't the rifle to the left and give it a little tap.
I really like the set trigger as well and think that helps. The cock seems to be faster on the GPR than it is on my DeerStalker???

I got the DeerStalker about 6 months ago but my young lad has claimed it on me. It's a flintlock as well. Both left handed.
