Congrats to Blackheel and Swampbuster!! An everybody else who has scored for our team. Sorry I've been off here a while. I headed to Nebraska Saturday, hunted three days and then went to Kansas for 4 days. Didn't have much for reception or internet then had so much to do after I got back to town yesterday. I am happy to report I killed 3 birds on the trip. Got my first merriam's in Nebraska then killed a 2 birds in Kansas, a Rio and one that looked more like a Rio/Eastern hybrid. Anyway. Ill post scores tonight after work but just wanted to let everybody know I'm on the board.

Looks like we are doing pretty good! Getting some kills on the board. Hopefully I can kill 2 more in Iowa yet this year, maybe some I'll up my score. Glad to be back on here, just didn't have the internet service on the trip.

Hey guys, I had a guy message me from team 3 that wanted me to post a couple of pics for him. He was on a team with me a few years back. 1 pic of a jake he shot and the other of a nice tom his young fella had shot.. I hope no one has any issues with it as I was only trying to help another fellow hunter out.. While he was in a contest his son was not.. Anyways thanks for the understanding..

Ok here are my scores..

4-24-2015 - 19lbs, 15/16 spurs and a 8 1/8 inch beard = 54 total score (Rio/hybrid with a shotgun.

4-23-2015 - 17.5 lbs, 1" and a 7/8" spurs and 8 7/8 inch beard = 54 total score (Rio with a shotgun)

4-21-2015 - 18.75 lbs, a 5/8 and a 9/16 inch spurs and a 7 7/8 inch beard = 46.375 total score (Merriam with a shotgun)

Phil you might wanna double check my scores but I believe all is correct. I have some pics of this that didn't turn out the best if I need to post.

Yes jepcho we will need the pics as well as the time that they were shot.. Rough guess on the time is ok if you do not recall all the times.. Looks like you had gotten into some decent birds Congrats!! Thanks, Phil

Congrates to all team members that have had success so far.

Got back last night from my Missouri hunt with my uncle. the birds were not plentiful but did get on one sunday morning that wanted to play. Called in four jakes to 10 yards off the roost but no longbeard. This bird was east of me on a logging road so after the jakes walked off I went to him. Got setup over the hill from him and sent two sets of yelps his way , he gobbled back both times and strutted over the hill and down the road to his death, shot him at 25 yards.

Missouri eastern, 8:30 am, 4-26-15
Shotgun
24 lbs
Beard 10"
Rt spur 1 1/8"
Lt spur 1 1/4"

Phil, I will send you pics to post for me, Thanks.
